Auto-Stat Download

Auto-Stat V1.3 is here as a SHAREWARE version!

Fellow Board Gamers,

Are you looking for a quick way to compile baseball season stats, using your
favorite baseball board game?  If so, I think I have something you might
find very helpful. 

Auto-Stat V1.3 allows you to manually enter in score sheet results using a
few one- or two-character codes.  Then, once you feel the score sheet is
correct, you tell Auto-Stat to add the game results to the season totals for
the individual players.  There is also a tab that will allow you to create a
top-ten leader list for a single team, or for the league.

Auto-Stat is done completely within MS-EXCEL 2000 and uses macros.
Auto-Stat has been scanned for viruses (none found) and the macros will not
do anything malicious to your system.

Please read the "Doc" tab completely before attempting to use Auto-Stat.

NOTE - I will be posting EXCEL 97 version of the latest shareware version and latest production version.

SHAREWARE NOTES:

Initial release was V1.0.
V1.1 fixed some sorting problems.
V1.2 fixed a logic problem with the 2-character event codes, such as FC, SB, SH, etc.

Once you move the rosters to the score sheet tab, you have two options of loading the lineups.  You can build lineups on the team tabs, or you can simply go to each lineup cell and click on it.  You will see a drop-down list.  If you don't see any names, simply scroll up.

Also, when you enter the pitching totals on the score sheet, you need to use .0, .1 or .2 to indicate the number of innings pitched (in thirds).  The stat compiler handles these correctly.

Version 4.3 is available to shareware contributors. 

V1.X is shareware and is documented above.
V2.0 - added audit feature on the scoresheet tab
V3.0 - added logic to audit box, fixed current hitting streak bug and a few minor tweaks.
V4.0 - corrected a cell trigger on the scoresheet, added a new symbol ($) for fielding errrors, added logic to keep track of season-best hitting streak and a new button was created to restore formulas on the scoresheet if they are deleted.
V4.1 - fixed a logic problem with the 2-character event codes and added an audit line for fielding errors.
